We’re shipping out on our first May 5th on the Carnival Imagination. We booked thru our local travel agent, and one thing we quickly found out was that you don’t really want to book any airline travel with the travel agent cuz it’s much cheaper to book your own. I don’t know what to expect, except 5 days of pure fun. We booked excursions at each port cuz we don’t want to miss out by procrastinating. We also are flying in to the port of Miami one day early just to make sure we make the ship on time the next day…" Book it Danno " once you do, that’s when the fun starts. Just do it!!!
I hope you’ll have as much fun as we’re going to..

I love cruising. To see if you do you might want to take a quickie Bahamas cruise or one of the 3 or 4 day Western Caribbean cruises. No cash on a cruise; everything gets charged to your room. We usually do Disney Cruises and beverages (except alcohol) are included. On many lines you have to pay for your sodas and whatnot. We don’t bother with snacks because they too are included.

Your cell will work but the rates are expensive. On ship it will range from $2.50 to $4.00 a minute and onshore you are paying international roaming charges.

We love cruising. It’s easy to plan and there are a ton of things to do.

First don’t bring snacks. Everything you will possibly eat is on the ship from burgers, hot dogs, soda, pizza, ice cream, and the list goes on . You can book a cruise threw a travel agent or go on line and do it yourself as long as you have a credit card handy. One of the web sites I like is "vacations to go" as it has great rates. Your cell phone will probably work in the ports, but not too much on the ship. be where of extra roaming charges. They also have Internet service on the ship for a charge. I do bring a bottle of water with me and drink it while waiting in line to get on the ship. They do have bottled water on the ship or you can drink there water which is just fine too. I have never had any regrets with a cruise. I have booked both with an agent and on my own. No problems ever. The ship doctor even took care of a minor problem I had. I have gone with Princess cruise lines and love them.

Make sure you have your passport. Most if not all cruise lines now require you have them. I just got back from a 2 week cruise and we had to have our passports or we couldn’t go.

You def dont need any snacks at all for the cruise. And you dont need much cash either. You can have them charge things to your Sail & Sign card, which gets charged onto your credit card at the end.
It’s so much fun, so just relax and enjoy.

You don’t need to bring any food-they have plenty of food
Everything on board is charged to your account, however cash is when your shopping or whatever at the ports.
The only place I’ve been to is the Bahamas and we were actually kind of disappointed, from what I’ve heard if you want pretty beaches the Carribean cruises would be best.

but overall our cruise was lots of fun! Enjoy!
also, if you can, try and go on longer than 4 days, it went too fast for us!!!
