I am set to graduate in June and I desperately want to work on board a cruise ship after I graduate. I am 18, I have lifeguarding experience and a little waitressing experience, but not much. I’m starting my dive certification this month and I eventually want to be a dive instructor, on or off a cruise ship. I heard that cruise ships don’t usually hire Americans unless they have a specific skill and I want to
know what my chances of actually getting a job offer are? My resume doesn’t really have an objective cause I’m willing to do any assignments, is that bad or good for the application process of cruise lines? Also, anyone with experience working for a cruise ship, did you like it? Positives and negatives? Any info is helpful 
my husband and I plus another couple are planning a vacation in October and want to take a cruise. I have never been on one and there are soooo many options it’s kind of overwhelming, plus I know when it comes to cruises it’s easy to end up with a crappy ship and lousy experience.
We haven’t decided on the destination so if you have any fabulous recommendations that would be awesome, but what I really want to know is which cruise line I should stick with? I want a ship that is NOT kid friendly (even an adult only would be great). I want a ship with night clubs, gambling, drinking and all around grown up fun. It has to be nice, we have been saving for a while and have 5000 to spend so I want luxury (for what I can afford).
Are there any cruise lines or destinations that you would highly recommend? that would be great!
i just moved to venezuela and m bf lives in florida… we want to go on a cruise together but i have no idea how to plan it or where to even start looking for cruise lines tht work with this…any help would be GREATLY appreciated..
