My dad is turning 79 this August, and he’s been sick a lot recently. It’s always been his dream to visit Italy, Montalbano in particular, it’s near Palermo in Sicily I do believe, but because that’s where his father grew up. I really would prefer a cruise, it just makes things a whole lot easier for him, he isn’t one of those super fit almost eighty year olds. I’m currently searching but to no avail. The itinerary doesn’t make a huge difference, as long as a lot of the destinations are in Italy, and it’s possible to take a trip to easily on one of the days. If there’s no luck with any cruises, guided tours would also work. The only specifications besides accessibility to Montalbano is that it needs to be from late May to August preferably, and if not 2010, 2011, or even 2012. Please help me grant my dad his dream.
